Savoring Spring

Big news: we officially have jasmine here in Arizona!

...and now I'm the crazy pregnant lady who's always outside on her porch sniffing flowers.  :)
It's been almost a year in the making, and it's definitely not quite the same, but it smells a little more like home!  Speaking of which--we're coming to visit next month (got to get a last trip in before I'm too big to travel)!  Get ready, South Carolina!

We're excited to see everyone (including a certain boy who is about to leave for a 2 year mission to Salt Lake City!  I can't believe he's so grown!)!  Also, word on the street (yes, I've taken to hanging out on the streets these days--it's the vagabond life for me) is that the baby can hear sounds by now, so she'll get to hear everyone's voices!

PS: Our honeysuckle hasn't bloomed yet, but it's only a matter of time!

Springtime!

We've had beautiful sunshine over the past couple of weeks, plus a few good rainstorms (hail included).  We're loving the Spring!  We went a little crazy and bought more plants for our front balcony, so we hope that we'll be able to actually keep them alive once it gets hotter.  We are not exactly expert gardeners.  We also went to the Arizona Botanical Gardens, where it turns out they are having a seasonal butterfly exhibit, which was fun to see!  We snapped a few pictures (please excuse my sweaty hair/face--it's already getting almost too hot to live over here).

If you look really close, you can see butterflies in the flowers behind us!

My favorite of the butterflies.

I made sure to have my sunglasses on to look more bug-ish.

In other (much more exciting) news, we found out Baby is a girl!  We are so excited and are now going through the challenge of picking out a name for her--I honestly don't know how we'll ever choose.  We might just have to see her little face before we can settle on anything definite!  Only time will tell.

18 week picture (I'm a bit late posting it).
